ART 100A Introduction to World Art
An introduction to the dominant styles in painting, sculpture, architecture, the graphic arts and photography from prehistory to the present. Class lectures and discussions are supported by slides of historically significant works. Course requirements include visits to Boston area museums at students’ expense. Not open to Art Majors. Three lecture hours per week. Not open to students who have received credit for ART 100.
