DESCRIPTION: A non-technical distribution elective which explores music of all periods in Western culture and may include selected music of non- Western cultures. Emphasis is placed on how to listen to music. Three lecture hours per week. Attendance will be required for outside concerts. Fulfills a requirement for the Music minor and concentration.
