MUS 113 – Music and Humanities II

DESCRIPTION: A course about music and its relationship to Western culture. Attention is focused on music from the Baroque period through the present with concurrent developments in art, architecture, literature, and philosophy. NO prior knowledge of music is necessary. Attendance at concerts and/or art exhibits outside of class me be required. Satisfies a Music elective for Music minors. Three lecture hours per week. Offered every Spring semester.
