This database contains basic company information for many US companies. For access, select General BusinessFile ASAP, Powertrac, and then Company ProFile.
Hoover's Online
Company reports on 15,000 public and private companies worldwide. Each profile provides a summary of operations, history, list of officers, products, key competitors, and up to 10 years of summary financial data.
Lexis-Nexis; Company Dossier
Company Dossier includes U.S. and global company overview information; financials; competitive information; executive information; subsidiaries list; current news articles and press releases; docket listings, litigation trends, litigation risk; trademarks Access to court documents; summaries of cases, and commentaries; inside/outside counsel; auditor; and bank information. Comparisons may be made between five different companies and output may be downloaded into Excel.

ABI/Inform Dateline
A database covering local and regional business publications with news about local companies, analysis, and information on local markets. ABI/INFORM Dateline includes major business tabloids, magazines, daily newspapers, wire services, and area business publications.
Mergent
Mergent Online provides online access to the print Mergent (formerly known as Moody's) products. Use this product to access company data and financials (historical and current).

Academic Search Premier (EBSCOhost)
Provides abstracts and indexing for over 3,200 scholarly journals covering the social sciences, humanities, education and more. Also offers full text for over 2,300 journals with many dating back to 1990. Includes coverage of over 1,700 peer-reviewed journals.
Gale/InfoTrac
Database system that provides access to many full-text databases
Lexis-Nexis
This database system includes the full-text of thousands of journals and newspapers. Special collections include business, congressional, environmental, legal, medical, and statistical information. (note: within LexisNexis Academic are links to LexisNexis Statistical, LexisNexis Environmental, and LexisNexis Congressional)
Proquest
General subject, full-text database that indexes reference books, magazines, radio/television transcripts, maps, newspapers, and pictures.
